Education: Elementary school in Húsavík, graduated 2005. One year exchange student in Germany. Upper secondary school in Húsavík, graduated 2009. STCW Basic Safety Training and Crowd- and Crisis Management Training and Human Behaviour Training. Completed a BSc International Tourism Management from Dalarna University, Sweden, 2014. Cabin crew training, Sweden, 2015. Various courses in tourism, marketing and customer service.

Languages: Icelandic, English, German and Swedish.

Experience: I have been working for the Gentle Giants company since its establishment in 2001, taking part in the development from the beginning. Among my responsibilities have been ticket sales, guiding on board the boats, brochure distribution, web design and maintenance.

Since 2008, I have been the assistant manager of the company, with responsibilities including hiring, training and directing staff on daily operations, running the ticket center, taking part in sales and marketing, business planning, product development and book keeping.

Along with Gentle Giants, I have also worked at a travel agency in Stockholm, developing and selling tours to Iceland, and as a cabin crew at Norwegian Air Shuttle.

Have been an active board member and chairman of Visit Húsavík, Destination Marketing Organization for Húsavík and Surrounding, since 2018.

Interests: Coming from an international background, I like travelling, experiencing new cultures and interacting with people from all around the world. I am a nature person and enjoy all sorts of outdoor activities, camping and adventures. Spending quality time with my family and friends. Cooking good food and many other things.

Favourite Icelandic food: The Icelandic lamb meat and various types of fresh fish.

Favourite foreign food: Swedish meatballs and Sushi.

Favourite band / singer: I listen to all kinds of music, depending on mood and situation.
