Humpback update …
Humpback whales have been spotted in all our tours the last days, but according to our captain Arnar and guide Linda, yesterday's evening tour was one of the best they’ve had with the humpbacks. Four humpbacks were spotted on the trip, swimming very close to our boat Faldur, showing off and even breaching for our passengers!
Other species seen on the trip were jumping white-beaked dolphins, minke whales and harbour porpoises - all the most common species Skjálfandi bay has to offer …
This morning, despite thick fog lying over the bay, a humpback whale was spotted, thanks to our experienced staff onboard Faldur!
