A BLASTING START … only a few minutes away from Husavik harbour!!!


First trip of the season Gentle Giants – Athena:

Capt. SG + pax of 5 from USA and Italy.   

Left Husavik harbour on April 26th at 10:15. Saw Big Blue after 10 minutes, just 1.5 nautical miles from the harbour ......... plus one Humpback .............. plus 2 Minkes a little bit further!!!

Weather excellent, sunny and warm. Never seen the Blue Whales so close, the Blue Whale seemed to be kind of baby-sitting the young and small Humpback all the time..........................

In Husavik harbour again at 12:50, with many smiling faces; and unbelievable experience - whale on both sides of the boat................they said and could not wait to tell others about their excellent experience with us.
