GROUP OF SCHOOL CHILDREN ONBOARD SYLVIA
Aþena Lind Stefansdottir, one of the manager’s daughters, took her class out to sea yesterday. At 13:15, 20 young students sailed out to Skjalfandi bay on our boat Sylvia for an educational trip as well as looking for whales – some children going for the first time out to sea, others having been often before.
The tour began with guidance and stories from Stefan Gudmundsson, and then the excitement began looking out for the whales. The bay didn’t have much to offer on this tour as sometimes happens – nature is unpredictable – but all in all, the enthusiastic young sailors were happy with the tour around Skjalfandi bay onboard Sylvia!
