WHALE WATCHING IN THE FOG

The 13:15 tour today started quite normal. Guide Daniel was introducing to passengers onboard Faldur the safety onboard and the most common whales. Captain Alli was heading towards the area they had spotted humpbacks, a minke whale and harbour porpoises in the morning.

After some time of sailing thick fog came over the bay and the visibility became quite bad. This however, did not stop our crew and passengers to sail around the bay with patience and hope in the search of the gentle giants of the sea.

Couple of hours went past and no luck yet for the eager whale watchers onboard Faldur. Captain Alli was just preparing to return home when a passenger screamed out loud and saw a blow. Finally a humpback! It swam calmly next to the boat and gave the passengers and the crew a great view!
