Big whales and sun in Skjalfandi Bay!

After experience very cold northern climate for the past days, the sun is shining again in Skjalfandi Bay. Despite cold and wavy trips, the crew of Faldur and Sylvia has spotted big animals in the bay; Blue whales, up to five at the time, Humpback whales in close distance and jumping, and other smaller species, in small and large groups.

A short while ago, Alli, the captain of Faldur spotted a Blue whale. At this moment, two of our boats are out in the bay giving passengers from all around the world sight on these beautiful and magnificent animals. We can only hope for the weather to stay as beautiful as it is at this moment, even though we know that it is as unpredictable as the whales. We never know what tomorrow will bring us, which is one of the exciting parts of whale watching!
