WHALES EVERYWHERE
Skjálfandi is full of whales today ! On the last trip at least 6 Blue whales, 4 Humpbacks and a group of dolphins have been spotted.
Blows and flukes everywhere. When it is like this crew has to decide which ones to have a look at. Captain Bessi tried first with 2 Blue Whales that ended up coming up close to the boat. Then a big Humpback. A group of dolphins to continue with - playing and following the boat. And, as a good end of the trip, more Humpbacks - 3 of them moving calmly and raising their flukes at the same time. Some trips are just perfect.
Skjálfandi is known to be one of the best places in Europe where to spot whales. We truly believe it!
