BACK WITH THE WHALES
Finally, after ten months, I’m back to Húsavík and the whales. Now that I’m here again, I know why I love this place so much: the beautiful landscape, the midnight sun, the hot springs, all those nice people and friends I’ve met, and of course the whales … I’ve already gone out many times since I arrived and have had so many great encounters with the whales. Just to call the highlights - breaching and spy-hopping humpbacks, blue whales just next to the boat, one of them was a calf (a “baby”), swimming together with its mother just in front of the midnight sun … How could it possibly get better? I hope those perfect tours are lasting for the whole summer!
I also want to greet Uri and Nuri on this way. It’s too bad you can’t be here this summer! We are all thinking of you!
