MISSION ACCOMPLISHED

“I think I saw something there!” one person calls to another; arm stretched out, finger pointing straight in a specific direction. It happens all the time on our boats that people want to share their excitement and experience with others - a sign of that interest has awoken and is being spread. It does not really matter if it is a puffin, driftwood or a giant whale. The pointing finger is the best confirmation we can get as our main aim – at Gentle Giants - is to raise general awareness and interest in whales and other marine life.

Every time it happens onboard, I smile to myself and a satisfied feeling is spread within me. That pointing finger is a beautiful sign of that what I do as a guide is important.
