Yesterday at 12:00 I experienced something fantastic. Close to Puffin Island Óðinn and I came across a group of white-beaked dolphins – probably around 150 individuals. The sun was shining, the sea was completely flat and they were all so relaxed. We drifted slowly and the dolphins hooked on, swimming along our side at the same speed. Harmony!

The water was lit up by the sun and so clear that every single spot on their skin was visible. When they came up to breathe, I could have touched their back. My heart was beating fast and my knees got week. There is something very magic over them. I pinched my arm and realised that I'm a whale watching guide on Iceland, watching dolphins in the wild, living the dream!
