THE WILD NORTH
Gentle Giants is a proud partner of ”The Wild North”; a project with the aim of finding ways to contribute to the sustainable development of wildlife tourism.
Participating in this project are tourism companies- and research institutions specialised in natural based tourism/wildlife tourism. Through this project information is collected from many different places and distributed again; knowledge is shared which otherwise might never reach colleagues working in the same field. Gentle Giants' aim with participating is to improve and develop the whale watching in Skjálfandi Bay in the best way possible for nature in the long-term.
The Wild North is an international project with partners in Iceland, The Faroe Islands, Greenland and Norway.
