BREAKFAST IN THE BAY AND WE JOINED

We just came home from what has probably been our best tour so far this season. The sea was blank like a mirror and we were welcomed out on Skjálfandi Bay by four feeding minke whales. Also two groups of harbour porpoises passed us, as well as puffins, gannets and fulmars.

You never know when you go out on a trip what will meet you out there. No two tours are the same. So far we have been very lucky with the whales and have not had a single ”boom” (trip without whales) – touch wood! We tell our passengers the truth about that it can be tricky finding whales so early in the season – but today we were lucky again. Very lucky!
