WINTER WEATHER = NO WHALE WATCHING
The weather in Iceland those days feels more typical for the middle of December than the end of May. Our tours have been cancelled for three days, snow has fallen constantly and it is not more than 1-2°C in land.
The weather forecast shows that it should brighten up and get milder sometime during the middle of next week. Luckily the whales do not care about snow storms; they stay in the sea during all weather conditions, all year around. We hope to be able to watch whales as soon as possible again.
But loads of things happen in the company also when we do not go out to sea. We are all busy making everything ready for the SUMMER to come...

The snow plough is so busy it has to refill petrol.
In the background you see Skjálfandi Bay where we usually cruise in search for whales.
It is not very inviting a day like this...
