HAPPY TO BE BACK WITH THE HUMPBACK
Our whale watching boat finally managed to leave Húsavík harbour again this morning. Captain Bessi and Guide María went out on Faldur which had only a few seats left empty. The sea is calm and the sun is shining.
Bessi just called me and said that he could not believe that this is the same bay as two days ago - the conditions are great now. The weather changes fast in Iceland...
Those lucky people onboard have already spent some great time with a humpback, an individual which we have seen also earlier this season.
In this very moment Faldur is searching for minke whales along the mountains on the other side of the bay. Rumours about a second humpback in the east have spread and Faldur might go searching for that one afterwards.
Finally things are back to normal by Gentle Giants and you can once again trust our schedule.
