COOL PALS
The passengers on the 9:45 tour got to see something which is not very common; a humpback and a blue whale were swimming together – just next to the boat.
This is the time of year when you are most likely to spot those gentle giants. It happens that we see many species during one and the same tour (like two days ago when our passengers got a jackpot and saw six species) but that the whales hook up like this is rarer. Maybe it was a coincidence or maybe they actually enjoyed each other’s company. The boat at least enjoyed theirs – big time!
Blue whales have been spotted on all our tours so far today. Nothing says that the same whales will be there this evening; they could all be gone or just as well be even more...
