HUMPBACK WHALES COMBINED WITH SUNSHINE

When Sylvia left the harbour this morning it promised to become a sunny trip and everyone on board was really motivated to find some of the whales that we have had in the bay during the last days.

Captain Bessi was sure that it would take a long time to reach the area where the whales might be found today. And so it was.

Unfortunately, it became very foggy after a while and we could only see a few metres around the boat. The motivation went down and the passengers started to doubt a successful trip.

But after 15 minutes sailing in these conditions, the fog disappeared within seconds and after two more minutes sailing and searching, we saw the blow of a humpback whale only 200 metres away from the boat.

In the end we had not only one, but two humpback whales around and as if this was not enough, also two minke whales!

Moreover, sunshine and a perfect view over the whole bay completed the trip.
