JUST GETTING BETTER
It seems like the whale season is starting for real now. Yesterday a nice group of white-beaked dolphins was swimming around the boat for half an hour. We got the chance to see them bow riding just in front of the boat. Today we also saw some bigger whales - the first two minke whales. One of them came very close to the boat as if it wanted to say hello to us.
In addition to that we had amazing bird watching included those days. Thousands of puffins were chilling on the surface and flying around Lundey (Puffin Island). Occasionally the whole sky was black from puffins, when they took of all together from the water. Gorgeous!
The only thing that was not perfect the last two days was the weather but according to the weather forecast it is going to be better tomorrow and the following days.
That means with a little bit of luck we will have wonderful tours in good weather with nice whales and many puffins.

Our first minke whales of the season were spotted today on the 9:45 tour.
