BLOWS AND TAILS, TAILS AND BLOWS
Completely blue sky, calm waters and blows and tails everywhere for the last two days in Skjálfandi Bay. After the storm, the beams of sun were very welcome by crew and passengers and so was the mirror-like sea. Sometimes conditions are just perfect for whale watching and our passengers seemed to know about it.
We went out several times yesterday both on Faldur and Amma Sigga and all trips were very successful. Captain Bessi got a bit confused sometimes not knowing what whale to look at since there were loads of them. Slowing down and waiting was the best option and after a few minutes we were surrounded by them. All we had to do was turn our heads to look at the one we liked the most.
