1ST JUNE – BIG WHALE SAFARI STARTS
May has been very good regarding both whales and weather. Many humpback whales have been feeding in the bay, along with minke whales, white-beaked dolphins and harbour porpoises.
From tomorrow, 1st June, we add many departure to our wide selection of tours.
- GG1 Whale Watching – the traditional tour on our oak boats - departs in June five times daily at 9:45, 12:00, 13:15, 16:45 and 20:15. Each tour takes approximately 3 hours.
- GG6 Puffins Exclusive – an express tour on our RHIB to Puffin Island – departs four times daily at 9:00, 11:00, 14:00, 16:00 and 18:00. Each tour takes approximately 1 hour.
- GG7 Big Whale Safari – adventure whale watching our our RHIB – departs daily at 19:00. Each tour takes approximately 2,5 hours.
- GG8 Hiking the Mountains - a two day hiking tour by the mountains of Skjálfandi. First departure 29th June.
- Sea angling, Flatey Island tours, Pro-fishing and whale and puffin combo tours made upon request.
The weather forecast for the next days is good – but of course, unpredictable in Iceland, just like the whales.
