GG RESCUE DRILL
Yesterday morning the GG crew gathered together down the harbour for a rescue drill. This is something we do regularly to keep the safety routines fresh in mind.
We have done it many times before but we think safety can not be practised too much. Together we went over the emergency plan, where all safety equipment is, the guides practised how to steer the boat, how to rescue from the sea, how to throw life rings and how to handle the hook.
Below follow some photos which better describe our safety session.
