STAFF TRIP BY GENTLE GIANTS
For whale watching big storms are not very good, but for team building they can be really useful.
The other day when the weather was too rough to run whale watching we decided to use the time on a staff trip.
A bus from Fjallasýn brought the GG crew to Akureyri where we started the evening with playing hockey in the ice hall; Icelanders vs. foreigners. Some were skilled on skates while others – like myself – acted more like Bambi on ice. We all had fun which is of course the most important thing...
A stone throw from there lies the bowling hall which was our next stop. Three teams, two rounds and a lot of fun. The adventurous evening ended with a good dinner buffet in Sveinbjarnargerði country hotel. A great evening with other words, and probably the best way to spend a stormy day.
