ACROBATIC HUMPBACKS
This season we have been luckier with humpback whales than ever before. We do not remember them being so many nor so acrobatic as they have been and are those days. They have been jumping, flipper slapping and lob tailing on nearly every trip.
"There is definitely something going on with the humpbacks. It must be more than only communication." says our guide Ann-Sophie.
“I can not with words describe how amazing it was. One and a half hour of constantly "playing" humpback. It never wanted to stop and I never wanted to go home. I am jealous of myself!” is guide Elin's comment on her whale encounters yesterday.
