THE BEST JULY EVER?
So, today we enter the month of August and even though no schedules change we can still look back at July and conclude: We do not remember a season as successful as the this one has been so far.
The whales are many – still – and active. Humpbacks make our passengers pinch their arms during nearly every of our nine daily departures. People look into the guides' eyes when boarding off, thank us and say “This is one of the best days of my life” or “I will carry this with me forever”. We are honoured, of course, but it would not have been the same without the cooperative and curious whales.
Below are some photos that guide Elin took during a Big Whale Safari the other day. The boat is drifting and the humpback stayed around RHIB Amma Sigga for long - time after time coming up with its head. The tour could not have had a more suitable name...
