“We‘ve been talking about going to Húsavík for quite some time and when it was finally decided, the multi-trip pass for 3 days felt perfect.
We’ve been on some whale watching tours before in other locations and we know that every trip is different. You never know what you are going to see, if anything... Well. We’ve seen humpback whales in all of our tours! And on two of them, we were extremely lucky with flipper-slapping, lob-tailing and breaching. Even a synchronized jump with two of the whales! We also encountered a curious whale that approached the boat and came really close. When it slowly rolled over to its side and the eye was visible, it felt a bit like who’s watching who...!
Thanks to GG and the whales in Skjálfandi Bay for some amazing days!
