NEW TOUR: GRÍMSEY ISLAND
Next year's new excursion is called GG9 Grímsey Island. We have often been asked if there is no possibility to make day tours from Húsavík to this wonderful island pearl (where you can cross the Arctic Circle). There has not been – until now!
Our fast RIB Amma Sigga can take you to Grímsey Island in one hour during good conditions (we leave at 06:00 AM and the sea is usually very calm in the early mornings). Upon arrival you will get a guided tour on the island, including bird watching. Afterwards, to top your stay, you will be served a fully loaded breakfast while melting the experience and impressions.
On our way back we do some whale- and puffin watching in Skjálfandi Bay. Estimated time of arrival in Húsavík is at 12:00 AM. Every passenger gets a certificate after crossing The Arctic Circle.
