Last year Eagle Air started flying between Reykjavík and Húsavík and it turned out to be a great success. This year we will offer a new day package together, which takes you by flight from Reykjavík to Húsavík. You arrive to our fishing village which is sometimes called “The Whale Watching Capital of Europe”.
After having lunch at a restaurant of your choice, you will board our RIB. As this boat is faster than the wind, we are more likely to find the big whales. On our way we will also pass Lundey (Puffin Island) which is one of the largest puffin colonies in Iceland.
During your stay in Húsavík you get the chance to visit the Húsavík Whale Museum. This gives an extra dimension to your experience at sea.
In the afternoon you return by flight to Reykjavík, full of memories to think back at when your holiday is over.
