A NEW GUIDE IN OUR TEAM
As the season gets busier, the number of staff members increases as well. Last week a new guide arrived to Gentle Giants; Veronika from Slovakia. She has been training with Daniel and me for some time, and yesterday she guided her first whole tour alone - with style!
Veronika's training period has been short. As the enthusiastic person she is, she has studied a lot and really tries to do her very best at all times. That also gives quick results.
After yesterday's tour she said; “I am so happy! I can't imagine that I, who always dreamt of coming to Húsavík to see whales, am now a whale watching guide myself! My dream job!”.
