NEW RIB AMMA KIBBA ARRIVED
This is it.
"I have to go on this boat, whatever it takes!" some people feel when strolling the harbour and seeing Amma Sigga - what will they say now...?! Today, on 21st June, we welcome yet another member to our fleet, the brand new and top-modern RIB Amma Kibba.
Two years ago we introduced a blue thunder with 2 X 300 horse powers. That RIB got the name Amma Sigga, which means Granny Sigga, and we have had a lot of fun with her since then. Not at least through Big Whale Safari & Puffins which has developed into a tour with several daily departures, way more popular than we ever dared to hope for.
This brand new RIB has got 2 X 400 horse powers, and even though it is both broader and longer than our first one, it still makes the same speed (up to 52 knots). The name comes from Gentle Giants' owner's granny on the mother's side, Kristbjörg, who was called Kibba.
Together the grannies have a bigger chance of finding whales, bigger whales and a bigger number of whales than any other boat in our bay, as they can cover more area during the same duration. Through having both of them available, we open up for even more possibilities than before.
So what are you waiting for? This is your chance to try it out. Book a tour now!
