CLOSE-UP ENCOUNTER ON BIG WHALE SAFARI
Summer by Gentle Giants is busy like expected; many passengers on numerous departures, enough of whales in the bay and all the time there is something happening.
Around 15:00 I went down to the harbour and met Elin, guide on the 12:30 Big Whale Safari & Puffins, when they arrived back from their tour. When asking her how it went, she answered:
"Oh, it was great! We had three different humpback whales really close to our boat, and watched several more of them from a distance. One was breaching which is always just as amazing to see! I love the beauty and power of those gentle giants".
