THE BAY OF BLUE WHALES
Two blue whales were in our bay yesterday, and at least one of them is still there. "It was one of the most beautiful experiences i've ever had! Thank you for everything, we will never forget this!" one our passengers from yesterday's 19:00 Big Whale Safari wrote on Gentle Giants' facebook page.
Earlier this season we have not been as lucky with blue whale sightings as the years before, which is probably connected to their feeding (not the right conditions in the bay, means no blue whales).
We hope that they were just late and that we will be able to have regular blue whale encounters from now on. How it actually turns out is all up to nature. What we do know is that they are there now...
