BUSY DAYS, UNPREDICTABLE WEATHER
Today has been one of this year's busiest days so far, where almost all our tours have been completely full. Everything has still run very smoothly today - thanks to our experienced staff and good planning.
July always used to be our busiest month, until last year when August turned out to break the old records. So, maybe we are now entering another top month?
Except for being highest season, today has also been busy because of the storm which was blowing over Húsavík yesterday. Many patient tourists kept hoping the weather would slow down over the day, but tour after tour got cancelled due to the continuously rough weather conditions. Last night the wind slowed down and today the whale watching has been enjoyable again – as it should. Both waiting- and new passengers have once again been able to experience our seafaring adventures on Skjálfandi Bay.
