RIBS - GREAT FOR WHALE WATCHING
To invest in RIB Amma Sigga (2011) was probably one of the best decisions ever made in this company. Thanks to its speed, agility and comfortable size, it is ultimate for whale watching. This boat turned out to be so popular that we this year got Amma Sigga's "big sister" RIB Amma Kibba too, due to the very high demand.
Our speed boats have, through all their advantages, opened up loads of new possibilities for our passengers. You have for example an even bigger chance of seeing (more) whales, thanks to the speed which is not comparable to any of the oak boats in Húsavík. Also, to be at sea level while a humpback raises its flukes up for a deep dive, right in front of your nose, gives an intimate feeling you do not get elsewhere!
The success of whale watching on board RIBs is well known world wide. Speed boats are used all over the globe for this purpose; e.g. in USA, Canada, Norway, South Africa and Australia.
