EVENING TOUR 20:15 FINISHED

In Iceland we have the privilege to live with 24 hour daylight and midnight sun during the summer, which means that we also have 24 hour darkness lying over us in the winter. As the differences over the seasons are so big, the changes also go very fast. Already now we see that it is getting darker in the evenings.

For that reason, we do as planned and take the 20:15 evening tour out of the schedule from today on. We still run all the other GG1 Whale Watching departures as usual: 8:45, 9:45, 12:00, 13:15, 15:15 and 16:45.

The GG7 Big Whale Safari & Puffins departures are the same; 12:30, 16:00 and 19:00 – even though the puffins have started leaving for this year. That means they are not anymore as many as they have been earlier this summer. When the puffins have migrated, the Big Whale Safari tour will be focused on whales only.

Regarding the whales, we think and hope that they will stay in our bay throughout the whole season.
