WHALES AND RECORD HOLDING BIRDS

May has so far been a good month whale-wise. Some tours have been extraordinary, like the other day when six minke whales were encountered during one single tour.

That happened on the same day as we spotted the first arctic terns for this year. They are migratory birds and have the longest migration routes of all animal species on earth. Its annual migration of around 71.000 km. counts up to a possible lifetime distance equal to three return journeys to the moon. That is quite impressive for such small birds!

So, there are loads of possible interesting things to see during a tour with Gentle Giants. Throughout May we have three daily departures scheduled; two regular whale watching tours at 9:45 and 13:15 and one Big Whale Safari and Puffins at 12:30.

Come and join an exciting adventure with us!
