MORE SCHEDULED DAILY DEPARTURES FROM 1ST JULY
The month of June has offered everything a whale watcher can dream of; many, big and active whales, a lot of flat sea and great weather. Flatey Island in Skjálfandi Bay reached a temperature of 23,1°c which is the highest in the country so far this year. Húsavík is on a good second place with 22,7°c (according to the Icelandic Met office).
It has overall been perfect so far and we are now ready to pick up the tempo a bit and hope luck stays with us.
From tomorrow, 1st of July, we will have twelve scheduled departures daily:
° GG1 Whale Watching at 8:45, 9:45, 12:00, 13:15, 15:15, 16:45 and 20:15
° GG2 Big Whale Safari & Puffins at 9:30, 11:00, 12:30, 16:00 and 19:00
As July is usually one of our busiest months, we do redommend booking in advance. There are different ways of getting more information and making reservations:
- Book online (and pay in advance if you like)
- Send an email to [email protected]
- Give us a call (+354) 464 1500
- Visit our Ticket Center in Húsavík: look for the big BLUE flags - blue like the ocean
Welcome aboard,
