KILLER WHALES ALL DAY LONG
Yesterday, we were lucky to spot a pod of killer whales in our bay. Usually, they just stay for a short period of time before leaving again and one has to be extremely lucky to be on exactly that tour, which finds them.
But this time it was different: All our tours were able to catch up with the orcas and got some great views onto these animals. Therefore, many tourists had the chance to see these extremely rare “visitors” up close.
Even more impressive was a tiny calf – probably a new born one – swimming close to its mother, which was pushing its offspring towards the surface for breathing over and over again.
Following pictures were taken by our guides Charla and Sarah during our daily RIB boat tour at 12:30.
