THE FINAL COUNTDOWN 2015
It is less than two weeks left until our first whale watching tour on 1st April. Spring has now arrived with the first European golden plover of the year, which was seen in the east of Iceland yesterday. It is a migrating bird with a very special place in the Icelanders’ hearts, and traditionally the first sign of spring.
Head guide Sarah and captain Pétur will start the season and are now preparing the very last things. We are counting down with excitement until the morning when our oak boat Faldur will leave harbour again, in search for the gentle giants of the ocean.
