85 years age gap from youngest to oldest passenger onboard our RIB Amma Kibba
“The morning trip on RIB Amma Kibba was exceptionally joyable....not to mention they all are of course. But this one included the Oldest & Youngest: Franz, 88 years old, from Holland came with his two grandchildren and sat next to the captain the whole trip. And then Gabriel, 3 years old, came from UK with his parents, wanting his "whole life" to see the gentle giants. We started by visiting 200 thousand puffins that just arrived on Puffin Island and then we said a very close hello to 4 humpbacks & 1 minke whale in only two hours...by the mountainside. Gabriel fell asleep on the way home, fully satisfied, and the old man sat as a king next to his captain.”
These are captain Stefán’s words about today’s whale watching tour. The photo shows him holding up our youngest passenger Gabriel - who will soon turn 3 - and next to him, 88 years old Franz in front of our RIB Amma Kibba. The photo was taken after the group had returned from a memorable whale watching trip in Skjálfandibay.
