BIG WHALE SAFARI IS BACK 2015
From tomorrow, 1st of May, our “GG2 Big Whale Safari” starts to go out again! Departure is daily at 12:30 from 1st ‘till 14th of May. From 15th of May we will add a second departure at 16:00!
On board our RIBs you have an even greater chance to encounter the gentle giants of Skjálfandibay: Due to the speed our RIBs are able to cover a much bigger area in search for whales. Along that, a ride on these speed boats means a thrilling experience as well as getting the chance to drift on sea-level next to a whale!
Don’t miss your chance of a breath-taking experience and to be at eye-level with a whale!
Besides Whale Watching, the “Big Whale Safari” also includes a stop at Puffin Island. These gorgeous birds have arrived in thousands within the past weeks and are now back in Skjálfandibay to breed. Puffin Island is home to about 250000-300000 individuals. Imagine drifting on the surface among these lovely birds!
