LOVELY TOUR DAY ON FLATEY
Today the Gentle Giants team welcomed the passengers of the Iceland ProCruises ship and took them on a tour of beautiful Flatey, the "Flat Island".
All 130 passengers came to Flatey and learnt about the island's rich history of fishing and farming, and its current use as a summer paradise. We then guided them on a tour around the island to see the harbour, church, lighthouse, and schoolhouse, as well as the beautiful scenery and many bird species nesting there including puffins, eider ducks, and artic terns.
It was a great day, and we look forward to doing it again in the future!
