SUNNY AND SUCCESSFUL SEA-ANGLING
This past week, our boat Athena took 6 lovely passengers from Estonia on a sea-angling tour on a beautiful, sunny summer day, where the "catch-of-the-day" was a 5kg cod!
Skjálfandi bay is not only a wonderful place for whales, but it is also a fantastic fishing ground. On this sunny summer day last week, there were over 15 fish caught in the fishing area near Lundey! Of course some of them went back to the ocean, but a few were kept and filleted by our captain after a calm trip back to the harbour of enjoying the sunshine and bird life, so the passengers could enjoy a nice, freshly-caught dinner that evening.
