MANY HUMPBACKS, INCLUDING A RETURNING FAVOURITE
The humpback whale feeding season is in full-swing in the bay right now, with many sightings in the last days. Among them, is a returning favourite whale known as "Snow White".
The humpback whales come to the bay in the summer time specifically to feed on krill and small fish, and there have been many hungry humpbacks spotted on our tours recently. One of these humpbacks is very recognizable as the whale known as "Snow White". This whale has been coming to the bay every year since 2012 and is well-known and liked by both guides and researchers who spend the summers here.
It is always an exciting time to see the humpbacks enjoying the bay as much as we do, especially when you are encountering an old friend!
