"Iceland Pro Cruises" approaches Flatey for the last time this season
Today the ship of „Iceland Pro Cruises“ came to Flatey for the last time this season. About 170 passengers came for a visit onto the island out in Skjálfandibay. They couldn’t be luckier: sunshine, a blue sky, no wind at all and warm temperatures awaited them when stepping on land. Flatey was blooming: the fields were covered in flowers, the gras had been growing wild since some time now, and the angelica has grown high. In the passengers’ words that place was simply a paradise. They got enough time to walk around the island, to stop at several places and to get stunned by the island’s beauty.
At the same time several minkes, humpbacks and loads of dolphins entertained the whale watching boats, which were out in the bay. In the afternoon, also the passengers of the cruise went to see the gentle giants in the bay.
