THE ENTERTAINING HUMPBACKS
Yesterday has been an extremely beautiful day. The sun was shining, temperatures raised and it was amazing to go out for whale watching in Skjálfandibay. Humpbacks, minkes and dolphins had been showing up on the tours. Even though the weather has changed once again, whales were not less entertaining today. Two humpbacks swam side by side whilst travelling through the bay. For some time swimming rather calm, later on showing off as they started to lobtail next to each other. Short after another humpback was spotted close to the mountains on the other side of the bay. First it was feeding, then relaxing and at the moment we decided to leave it behind and head home, the whale jumped to say goodbye.
