SEASON'S LAST "GG1 WHALE WATCHING" EVENING TOUR DEPARTED
Today the last 8pm „GG1 Whale Watching“ - tour on our oak boat Sylvía has departed – at least for this year’s season. Evening trips are special for many reasons: First of all one gets to see the beautiful colours of the evening sun. Above that it is amazing to be out in the bay when everything else gets to rest and sleep. The pure nature is awaiting one out there and nothing seems to disturb it. The sound of the birds, the sea and the surfacing or breathing whales are the only things to break the silence. As boats are often less crowded at that time of the day, one can enjoy a cosy and almost private boat ride in the evening hours.
Our “GG2 Big Whale Safari and Puffins” evening departure will go out throughout the month. The boat departs daily at 7pm from our pier at the harbour of Húsavík. Read more here.
