BEST SUMMER DAY

Another beautiful day comes to an end. Today’s tours were blessed with sunshine and heat. Most likely it was the warmest day of this year’s summer so far. Even in the evening, when the sun was setting behind the Cheek Mountains, it didn’t really cool down but a warm breeze was there instead. Over all, an adorable day for sailing and watching whales in a perfect surrounding!

Once again different whales have been showing up throughout the day. It is just wonderful watching a whale in its natural surroundings, to see its blow raising up above the surface, to see it shining in the sun and then disappearing in the air. The blow is followed by the sun’s reflections on the whale’s body and finally, when it leaves again, one might even get to see the fluke raised out of the water. To sum all up, some boats even got to see a humpback breaching several times early this morning.
