GERMAN FILM CREW JOINING US OUT IN THE BAY
Yesterday a German film crew joined us on our boat Athena. For filming the whale watching by Húsavík we’ve been out for a couple of hours exploring the waters and beauty of Skjálfandibay. A humpback was feeding near the mountains and travelled in circles through the bay. Besides that the weather turned out to be really good. Some mystic clouds, then sunshine, a little southerly winds, which then passed by and a pretty calm and dark blue sea. Along that, it even got quite warm out in the bay. “Having these changes in weather, no one is going to believe us that we filmed all on one day – within a few hours,” jokes the cameraman on our way back to shore.
