13:15 GG1 WHALE WATCHING DEPARTURE CONTINUES
We - the team of Gentle Giants - are glad to announce that we continue to run the 13:15 GG1 Whale Watching departure until the 20th of October.
Hence, we will continue to sail two daily departures on our traditional oak boats starting at 9:45 and 13:15 from the harbor of Húsavík.
Even though it is October the demand is still high and our whale watching tours are well-attended.
Along that, the weather has been great for whale watching throughout the month and also whales are still showing up daily: Mainly humpback whales and minkes were seen, but also dolphins are spotted frequently. Just yesterday we got to see another blue whale, whilst some fin whales have shown up earlier this month.
