A HUNGRY HUMPBACK
This morning on our 9:45 tour, along with two minke whale sightings, a humpback was seen busy feeding at the surface. This humpback was quite the sight for our crew and passengers, rolling at the surface and revealing it's throat grooves and baleen plates! The bay is a feeding ground for the humpbacks, and though many of them will be migrating south to tropical waters for the winter time, they have still been spotted almost daily this month.
