SEASON ENDING
Today, 31st of October, our whale watching season of 2015 has officially ended. We will start sailing again on the 1st of April 2016. Find more information on our next year's timetable here.
Just as earlier this month, the past days continued very successful with passengers getting to see several different whales on our tours in Skjálfandibay.
On our last tour we got to see a group of dolphins travelling through the bay as well as four different humpback whales in an area near the mountains. After following one of them for a while, suddenly another blow appeared in a distance – and then, just some hundred metres away, two more! Surfacing one after the other we got to see each and everyone well. Just a perfect and wonderful last trip to round up a successful season!
On behalf of Gentle Giants I want to thank all of our passengers, co-operators and crew for making yet another season so memorable and successful.
